Arrival/return
Individual arrival. 01.31 p.m. Train from Davos Platz to Monstein train station (Schmelzboden) - stop on request! Or by car (parking spaces available). Individual return from Davos Wiesen railway station at 5.06 p.m.
(Depending on the area of validity of the guest card, public transport must be paid for separately.)

With guest card CHF 10.00 per person


Equipment
Solid shoes and clothing suitable for the weather.


Specials
Children from 6 years accompanied by an adult.


Execution
Takes place in all weathers except in thunderstorms and heavy rain.


Insurance
Is the responsibility of the participant.

Required by Monday, 3 p.m. at the latest online or at one of the guest service centres in Davos or Klosters.


Please bear in mind that your registration is binding. If you are unable to attend, you are obliged to cancel your booking as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail at the Destination Davos Klosters guest service, so that the place can be passed on to other guests.

Itinerary:

The tour begins with a visit to the Graubünden Mining Museum and its unique crystal collection. Here you will gain insights into the diversity of rocks and the geological formation of the Davos landscape.
During an easy hike along the historic Zügenstrasse to Wiesen railway station, you will learn how glaciers and natural hazards shaped the landscape, how transport routes have developed since the Middle Ages, and how hydropower is used today.
The tour concludes at Wiesen station with a view of the impressive Wiesen railway viaduct.
